Women’s Energy Summit (WES) in 2016. The Women's Energy Summit brings senior women executives together to network, share ideas and continue to foster women’s leadership in the energy industry. Held on September 20th, approximately 200 participants, including energy and utility regulators and industry leaders, attended the third annual Women’s Energy Summit in Chicago. Illinois Commerce Commissioner Sherina Maye Edwards and WES hosted the day-long event at the JW Marriott in Chicago. Notable speakers at this year’s Summit included Susan Story, CEO of American Water, Chris Crane, CEO of Exelon Corporation, Congresswoman Robin Kelly (IL), U.S. House of Representatives and Honorable Colette Honorable, Commissioner at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
